The indie film Dead Heist wraps this week and another one, Dirt Nap, begins. In Dirt Nap, three guys in the midst of a mid-life crisis go on a road trip from Pittsburgh to the Orange Bowl in Florida. The feature stars D.B. Sweeney, who is also directing, as well as John C. McGinley (Scrubs), Ed Harris (The Hours), Paul Hipp (Face/Off), Moira Kelly (One Tree Hill), Janet Jones Gretzky (Wayne’s wife), Carolina Beach resident Pat Hingle and tennis star John McEnroe. Principal photography begins today and continues for five weeks in the area. Producers are also looking for extras (who will receive a small paycheck).
