My Profile:

My name is Chip Gammel and I am the webmaster of this site. I was born in 1972 in New London, Connecticut and currently reside in Rockford, Illnois..not far from Chicago, IL.  I have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and current working as a Sr. Project Engineer.  In addition to my engineering responsibilities I run the divisional LAN/WAN system of which I learned most of my computer skills.  I started playing with a little website named Lakeshorebiz.Com back in April 1999.  As my first website, I didn't know what type of content to place on the web.  Amazingly, I remember an actress that made a huge difference in my life while I was at the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana.  This was around the time that Moira was at the school filming the movie "With Honors".  It's hard to explain what a difference she made in my life, but it was wonderful.  Therefore, I started with the website www.lakeshorebiz.com/moira which became a huge hit on the web!  With well over 100,000 visits to date, it was a highly visited website.  Out of all the websites I manage, it is still one of the largest.  Lately, my life has been very busy.  Being recently divorced, I have found a little extra money and time on my hands.  This started the process of hosting website pages out of my own house. Therefore allowing me to start a site at my house called www.midnighharbor.com.  This in turn finally allowed me to give Moira what she deserves, her own website.  I have tried in the past to get a dot COM, but the current owner was unwilling to release it; even though they don't use it.

 

The Future:

The Lakeshorebiz.Com website will still stay operational, however it will not include the Moira's Section.  This new and improved site will include all information from the other site as well as new information.  It will also allow easier access to information of Moira's wonderful acting career.  As always, comments and suggestions are always welcome.  This website is the work of many people who have searched for information.  I have thanked them many times and plan to continue to thank them many times more!
