Moira to Appear on Law & Order - March 5th, 2008
Moira Kelly guest stars on 'Law &
Order' CTV.ca
Actress Moira Kelly will be
playing a prime suspect on an upcoming episode of "Law & Order."
In the episode "Betrayal," a
psychiatrist is found shot to death in his office, and
detectives Ed Green (Jesse L. Martin) and Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy
Sisto) suspect one of his young patients.
Clues lead the detectives to the
doctor's jealous and much younger wife, Catherine (Kelly).
Kelly is best known for her
portrayal of Karen Roe on the hit series "One Tree Hill."
The American actress has also
appeared on the big screen, with a leading role in "The Cutting
Edge" and provided the voice for Nala in "The Lion King."
"Law & Order" airs Wednesday
nights at 10 p.m. ET on CTV. Filmed entirely on location in New
York, the realistic program looks at crime and justice from a
dual perspective.
"Law & Order" is currently the
longest-running crime series and the second-longest-running
drama series in the history of television.
As the brainchild of creator Dick
Wolf, "Law & Order" is a 1997 Emmy Award winner for Outstanding
Drama Series and the record holder for the most consecutive (11)
nominations for a drama series.

TV Stars Coming To Raleigh For
WB22 Block Party

RALEIGH -- Raleigh residents will
be able to meet TV stars, watch the Mission Impossible III
movie, and win prizes at a big celebration on Saturday September
9th in Moore Square in downtown Raleigh from 4pm to 11pm, all
for free.
The free block party event is organized by TV stations, WB22 and
UPN28 as they change over to the CW Network and My Network TV on
September 18th.

Fans of the hit TV show "One Tree Hill" can meet at least two of
the show's stars on Saturday. According to Kim Rivenbark of
WB22, Barbara Alyn Woods who plays Deb Scott on the show has
been confirmed to appear at the party. Also, Moira Kelly who
plays Karen Roe on One Tree Hill and has appeared on NBC's "West
Wing" has also been confirmed, says Rivenbark.
In addition, actress Dawnn Lewis of "A New World" and "Andy
Richter Controls The Universe" has been scheduled to appear as
well as Chris "Play" Martin of the 1980's Kid N' Play.
The stations say the event with start at 5pm with a concert from
Crush. They will also have a kid's corner with face painting,
inflatables, clowns, and kid's karaoke.
At 8:45pm, the summer blockbuster movie Mission Impossible III
will be shown on the outdoor screen.
There will also be giveaways at the event including a flat
screen TV, a $500 Visa Gift Card, guitar, and surround sound
system.

WEDNESDAY
A rotation of
America’s Next Top Model and Beauty and the Geek
are likely to open the night, followed by the return of
One Tree
Hill. New Kevin Williamson drama Palm Springs
will likely premiere in place of One Tree Hill at
midseason to give the former series a rest from repeats. While
Everybody Hates Chris and new Wayne Brady comedy Flirt
are also being considered for the post-Model slot,
chances are they will be needed for the comedy-intense Sunday
lineup.

One of the greatest movies has
been re-released before The Cutting Edge 2 - Going for the Gold
has been released. This new DVD released includes some
great interview footage of Moira and DB Sweeney. Just
watched it myself and worth the purchase if you are a fan of the
Cutting Edge. By the way, Moira is not in the Cutting Edge
2. They do have replacements for them in the new movie.

2nd Season DVD Released!
Warner Bros has just announced
the second season of One Tree Hill, part of the 3rd wave of
releases celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Warner Television.
The set will include a bonus DVD featuring an episode of What I
Like About You, and a bunch of other sweet extras. Look for 49
minutes of unaired scenes, diaries from the set
(behind-the-scenes material), a gag reel, "Music of One Tree
Hill" documentary including concert tour footage, and more!
The episodes will be presented in
anamorphic widescreen (1.78:1), along with an English stereo
track (English, French and Spanish subtitles). The 22 episode
season will arrive on 6 discs (1012 mins) for a $59.98 suggested
retail price. Look for it on September 13.
